Co-founder & Chief Executive Officer of FAU Tech Runway
Kimberly Gramm is the co-Founder and Chief Entrepreneur Officer of Tech Runway at Florida Atlantic University. She began at FAU as Director of the Adams Center for Entrepreneurship in early 2008 creating and developing a new strategy for entrepreneurship programs. The success of the Center programs led to the development of FAU Tech Runway.Tech Runway is a South Florida public-private partnership formed to foster technology startups, through a collaborative 28,000 sq ft workspace that is the place for entrepreneurs to find the complete ecosystem to house, educate, mentor and fund their companies from inception through venture funding.
Prior, she served as Assistant Dean in the College of Business at FAU the sixth largest business school in the country. Ms. Gramm’s prior professional experience focuses in the areas of entrepreneurship, business development, strategic marketing, and global corporate strategy for Fortune 100 companies. She has extensive knowledge in problem solving and creating solutions through the understanding of industry analysis, customer analysis and value creation. She is a goal-oriented leader with high degree of business acumen and strong abilities to negotiate contracts, coordinate internal departments, collaborate with external partners and vendors to align business objectives.She was recently recognized as TechWeek100’s most influential local leaders who make an impact on business and technology. Ms. Gramm has been featured in Entrepreneur Magazine, Boca Raton Magazine, Miami Herald, Sun‐Sentinel and various other media for her efforts in providing entrepreneurs opportunity to develop successful businesses.
Prior to FAU her most recent professional experience included corporate market strategist and business development for UPS.
